I was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador. I came to the United States to attend Wheaton College, where I received my degree in Elementary Education. Later, I attended Benedictine University to attain my masters as a reading specialist. This is my 19th year teaching and am always excited to start the new school year.
I have two amazing children: Isabella is 12 (7th grade) and Xander is 5 1/2 (kindergarten).
Personally, I teach a couple of fitness classes, love to PARTICIPATE in crazy obstacle races, and enjoy traveling the world.
